For two decades, Luciano Candisani has been producing photographic narratives that interpret traditional cultures and ecosystems around the world. His images, recognized with some of the world’s leading photography awards, bring together an aesthetic identity and strike a unique balance between art and documentary. They are images always imbued with the author’s creative motivation: to show life in the remaining large natural spaces and to alert us to the urgency of safeguarding territories and cultures at risk. His works appear in exhibitions, art galleries, and museums around the world and are published by renowned magazines such as National Geographic in the US and GEO in Germany. His production also includes seven photography books, numerous articles, workshops, and lectures in Brazil and abroad.
